Standon Calling is a boutique music festival set in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside. The festival has come a long way since its garden party beginnings and in 2021 we'll celebrate with a very special 15th Birthday Party Edition. We know how to put on a festival and we are very proud of our wonderful audience who come back year after year. If you haven’t experienced Standon Calling, get ready to have a lot of fun among the friendliest festival crowd in the land.

Across four fun-filled days you’ll hear music from the acts you love and the very best in emerging talent. Savour incredible food, dance until the early hours, enjoy an abundance of family activities, lounge by the pool, luxuriate in a hot tub, relax with a massage, take in top comedy, be inspired by a talk, or learn something new at a workshop, prepare to be charmed by the annual dog show, show off your creative flair in a bid to win the coveted best fancy dress prize, and so much more.

Don’t leave your imagination at home. Each year we take the opportunity to tell a new story, a themed world comes to life as the festival unfolds across day and night. In the past we’ve told tales of Murder on the Standon Express, Gods and Monsters, Running Away from the Circus, A Town of Two Faces, The Legend of the Lost Seas, Tales of the Enchanted Valley and The Future. This year it’s Twisted Creatures: A Strange Evolution.

We have a history of providing some of the UK’s biggest stars a platform at the very start of their careers. Including Florence and the Machine, Friendly Fires, Mumford and Sons, Bastille, Clean Bandit, Slaves, Rag’n’Bone Man and London Grammar, to name just a few.

In 2019, our Main Stage headliners included a Friday night spectacular from Rag’n’Bone Man, Wolf Alice and Friendly Fires for Saturday and Lewis Capaldi and Nile Rodgers and CHIC on Sunday.

So what are you waiting for? You are invited to this amazing summer party. Don’t miss out - book for 2021 now!
