Savage Disco, the weekly infamous club night of East London will take over Printworks this April with a 40-strong crew of DJs, dancers and performers to create a brand new day party for lovers of house and disco.
Headlined by legendary house DJs Kenny Dope and Todd Terry; Sunday Service will also bring together the club’s residents past and present as well as the full Savage family of wild dancers and performers. The party will welcome the House Gospel Choir to the line-up; a powerful group of singers who bring spirituality and dance floor euphoria together.
As well as big name talent on the stage, Sunday Service will also unleash a production of Sink The Pink proportions off it. Rows of confession booths, smutty stained glass windows, pole dancing girls on giant crucifixes, drag preachers, foul mouthed nuns and a whole load more, This is church, but not as you know it.
Guests will be invited to sing along to classic vocal house tracks as hymn sheets will be handed out by priests and nuns throughout the day.
Head of the Savage family Maxi More says: “We started Savage as London’s LGBTQ+ community needed a weekly home; it was inclusive and built on hedonism and fun. We can’t wait to take the spirit of Savage to a much bigger stage and show those that have never been before what we are all about.”
