Drum & bass stalwarts Playaz return to Printworks this February, bringing a host of special guests to represent the Playaz ranks.
DJ Hype will play two sets, headlining the Press Halls as well as going head to head with the ‘too hot to handle’ DJ Randall in an Irregular Jungle Set in the Dark Room. Hot off the heels of his hugely acclaimed, long-awaited ‘Far Fetched’ EP release, the legendary DJ Hazard will be pulling out all the dubs.
Problem Central (Logan D, Majistrate, Eksman & Evil B) bring a crowd-rattling set to Printworks, whilst brand new collab Watch The Ride (DJ Randall, DJ Die, Dismantle, SGT Pokes & Prima) bring their Bristol flavour following their Press Halls debut in November.
Rounding off dnb proceedings, Sub Zero & Original Sin combine for a rare & exclusive G-Dub set with DJ Limited & Taxman also linking up for a deadly back-to-back. Man of the hour and one of the hottest names in the scene, Bou makes his Playaz debut alongside fellow Mancunians Indika & Kaz. The Playaz takeover also sees the Born On Road crew return to Printworks with sets from Kelvin 373 B2B Selecta J-Man & Ben Snow B2B AC13.
On mic duties, Playaz calls on veteran masters of ceremonies in IC3 & Daddy Earl, as well as Evil B, Eksman, AD, Phantom & Crazy D.
To represent the UK’s revered dubstep & bass scenes, Playaz invites original grime spearhead Slimzee to go back-to-back with dubstep originator DJ Hatcha with Roll Deep legend Flowdan as host, whilst bass music stalwarts Royal T & Champion and CruCast’s Darkzy & Window Kid also connect over the course of the day.
